Tarek Fadel
SampleWebGL and interaction work that starts from the browser, not the mockup.
Capabilities
- WebGL and canvas-driven experiences
- Frontend engineering for design-led sites
- Generative and creative-coded visuals
- Interactive installations for physical space
Tarek Fadel builds interactive, code-driven work that starts in the browser rather than in a static mockup — WebGL scenes, generative visuals, and the frontend engineering to ship them at production quality, not just as a demo reel.
Practice
Most projects begin as a technical sketch: a shader, a physics interaction, a type system that reacts to input. The direction gets found by building, not by presenting static frames for approval first. That approach carries through to client frontend work — design-led sites where the interaction itself is part of the brand, not a layer added at the end.
Commissions
Recent work includes a WebGL interactive experience for an independent music release, a kinetic Arabic type playground built as an R&D piece, and an interactive wall installation for a Berlin natural history museum.
