Studio Rukn
SampleInteriors built around how a room is actually used.
Capabilities
- Hospitality and boutique interiors
- Residential renovation
- Small institutional and cultural spaces
- Material and lighting specification
Studio Rukn designs interiors and small buildings around how a room actually gets used, not how it photographs. The practice grew out of a two-person renovation partnership in Amman and now takes on hospitality, residential, and small cultural commissions across Jordan.
Practice
Every project starts with a week spent in the existing space, or in a comparable one, before a single material sample is pulled — daylight direction, foot traffic, and where people actually gather rarely match the brief on paper. Material choices lean local: reclaimed stone, native timber, plaster finishes suited to the climate.
Commissions
Recent work includes a boutique hotel interior in Amman, a residential loft renovation in Weibdeh, and a small cultural pavilion built for a neighborhood arts initiative.
